For a successful project, the perimeter of a tiled deck must be locked in to prevent the tiles moving.

 

The Nurajack Tile Cladding Spacers are designed to compress into place and are available in 5, 10, 14 and 22mm thicknesses.

This is also a requirement in the New Zealand Building Code E2/AS1 which shows a 12mm perimeter gap between tiles/decking (the NJTCS14 is the appropriated solution).
